Bolly4u: Dear Comrade is a 2019 Indian Telugu-language romantic action drama film written and directed by Bharat Kamma. It is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Big Ben Cinemas. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna and Shruti Ramachandran. The film was theatrically released on 26 July 2019 in Telugu and along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam and later Hindi on YouTube in 2020.
Plot:
The plot of the movie focuses on the life of Bobby who is a hot-headed student union leader. But his life takes a turn when he falls in love with a state-level cricketer, Lily. But things do not go well in their relationship as his anger comes in between the same. Moreover, not only does he have anger issues, but also has a violent streak that puts their relationship at risk and also derails it from the track.
Box Office Collection:
Dear Comrade collected around ₹18 crore on its opening day. It collected ₹30-33 crore in the first weekend. According to International Business Times, Dear Comrade grossed a total of ₹37.33 crores till the end of the year 2019.
The film was also dubbed and released in Hindi on YouTube by Goldmines Telefilms on 19 January 2020. The Hindi dubbed version crossed more than 310+ million views on YouTube.
Hindi Remake:
Dear Comrade Hindi Remake Is also in progress, Filmmaker Karan Johar has acquired the rights of producing a Hindi remake of the film.
